The Lone Wolf Mod
a mod for
the Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth.
-This mod adds 10 new Factions to the game as well as changing the existing factions.
-This mod also adds hundreds of new units,buildings and heroes to the game.
-The Command Point Limit has been increased by 10 times and the starting money has gone up to 10000-20000 (not sure on that yet)
-Lone Wolf introduces new play elements to the game including the new building plots called Havens and Watchtowers.
-These new plots allow for a more strategy as these Plots become place of power and can greatly influence the battle.
-The mod also gives the game a new look with a new Morgul green colour scheme and a new shell map.
-Lone Wolf when released will have have multiple Shell maps to choose from available to download.
-On top of all this the mod also introduces many bonus units,structures and heroes to help Map makers create more exciting Maps.
-Every faction has AI with the existing factions updated.
-Finally the mod introduces new unit types to the game as well as the Fighter,Archer,Cavalry and Pike types this mod brings in Shieldbearers,Support,Scout/Stealth and Elite.
-I'll explain some of the changes more fully below.
This mod will have 2 versions one with the full installation including the colour change for the menu screens the other without.
UNIT TYPES
Shieldbearers - The name is self explanatory they are units that carry shields :)
These units have great defence are strong against Archers,Infantry and Pikemen.They are weak to Siege,Hero and Flame.
Units in this class include - Gondor Tower Guard,Isengard Uruk Heavy,Dwarf Heavy,Mithlond Guard,Lorien Guard,Morgul Orc Heavy,Soldiers of Rhun.
Support - Support units are units that provide some support to units in battle they don't usually fight so never send them off alone.
Their support can vary from Fear to Leadership to Healing.
Units in this class include:- Haradrim Mahud,Rohan Hornblowers,Elven Maidens,Elven Hornblowers and the Elven Lightbearer.
Stealth/Scouts - These units are straight foward they provide recon and detect stealth units these are great in Early game to get advanced notice of attacks.
Only a couple of the Scout/Stealth units can fight they are generally single units and have low health and poor armor.
Units in this class include :- Dunedain Scouts,Wraiths,Druadan.
Elite - Elite units are strong units in the faction often fight alone or in pairs,most often they are Infantry units.
They have higher health,armor and attack then other units and are excellent to support heroes or an invading Army.
Units in this class include :- Dragonslayer,Isengard Berserkers,Far Harad Berserkers,Durins' Guards,Lady Guards,Battle Troll,Olag Hai,Rhun Slashers.
NEW PLOTS
HAVENS Also known as "Forts" or "Strongholds" they are very valuable Structures that are basically a Camp squeezed into one Structure.
Providing resources,Healing nearby units,sometimes with defences like Walls,Archers and special abilities like Horns to stun nearby enemies.
They also build exclusive units and heroes.Some factions have 2 different haven buildings providing different purposes.
WATCHTOWERS - Watchtower plots allow you to build a Watchtower to attack enemies nearby and provide Recon.
The plots are often placed in key places such as near forests or along paths to harry enemies.
The following is a rough list of some of the bonus units,heroes and structures that will be included.

I have also included random structures for the maps.
some of the map structures are listed below
Mithlond (grey havens) - random structures,walls,wharfs,stairs,and houses.
Esgaroth,Celduin - wooden platforms with houses,walls as well as docks.
Dale - random houses,roads and a fountain
Erebor and the blue mountains -Gates,bridges,Mines,props and ruins
Rhun,Khand,Harad,Umbar,Rhovanion,Bree and the shire will all have random houses and props
On top of this I have made some villager style units for the Elves,dwarves and will probably make some for harad,rhun,khand,Bree and the Shire.
Lone Wolf Mod - all coding,modelling,skinning,scripting,mapping and writing by Radspakr/Erkenbrand the cut.
