The Shire is dedicated to Hobbits but also has the Dunedain Rangers and the men and hobbits of Bree.
The shire may seem like a novelty faction but they are not to be underestimated.
Gandalf strongly defends the shire with the help of the Dunedain Rangers led by Halbarad in Strider's absence.
Tom Bombadil and Goldberry also assist the hobbits with whatever help they can give.
I have also considered adding in Barliman Butterbur as a support hero,but that will all depend on schedule.
The Hobbit units can not be trampled by Cavalry being small and rather nimble they can easily avoid Cavalry charges.

Progress -
Work on the Shire is still going slowly the Shire is a very difficult faction to make.
I am hoping that all the hard work and thought will make the Shire a very useful faction.
